This draft standard revision adopts the International Standard IEC 60898-1 - Edition 2.0: 2015-03, with a few changes that appear in the standard's Hebrew section as follows:

• Changes the normative references to fit Israel standards (paragraph 2);

• 1500A switches were deleted from paragraph 5.3.4.1 dealing with standard values up to and including 10000A, due to the fact that the overcurrents in Israel are limited to 3000A and therefore switches for lower current are forbidden;

• Changes paragraph J.1 of Annex J dealing with the scope and replaces the maximum current value of 20A for screwless terminals with 16A;

• Changes paragraph J.10 of Annex J dealing with the reference documents to apply to Israel standards.

• Replaces paragraph D-5, published in Amendment no. 1, and adopts the requirements of the German Standard DIN 4753-4: August 2017 for water heaters with colored inner coating.

Description of content: This standard specifies minimum requirements for metallic-coated steel sheets profiled for roofing and siding applications. It includes requirements for:

1. plain sheet characteristics including base metal thickness, tensile strength and yield strength;

2. metallic coating characteristics including coating type and coating mass;

3. paint coating characteristics including resistance to colour change and chalking;

4. profiled sheet dimensional characteristics including length, squareness, and tolerances; 

5. labelling; and

6. compliance (see Annex A).

This standard applies to unpainted and pre-painted profiled steel sheets of minimum base metal thickness of 0.36 mm hot-dip coated with zinc and aluminium-zinc or aluminium-zinc-magnesium alloy. 

This standard does not apply to other construction products made by the cold forming of steel sheets such as furring channels and load bearing products including floor decking sheets and purlins.

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: The FAA is correcting a final rule published on 13 December 2016. In that rule, the FAA amended its regulations to allow operators to use an enhanced flight vision system (EFVS) in lieu of natural vision to continue descending from 100 feet above the touchdown zone elevation (TDZE) to the runway and to land on certain straight-in instrument approach procedures (IAPs) under instrument flight rules (IFR). As part of the final rule, the FAA inadvertently removed some regulatory text. This document corrects that error. Additionally, this document corrects the same error in an amendatory instruction of the EFVS final rule to ensure the correction to the regulation is retained when the regulation is subsequently amended on 13 March 2018.
