National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology – Inmetro, issued Public Consultation 7, 25 March 2021, which proposes to amend the Technical Quality Regulation and Compliance Assessment Requirements for Refrigerators and the like, establishing the reclassification of energy efficiency categories, updating the regulatory basis and determining other measures for the availability of these products in the national market.
