Costa Rican Technical Regulation (RTCR) No. 452:2011, "Steel bars and wire for concrete reinforcement"
On 27 July 2011, the Government of Costa Rica notified, in document G/TBT/N/CRI/121, Costa Rican Technical Regulation (RTCR) No. 452:2011: "Steel bars and wire for concrete reinforcement", which establishes the technical characteristics and specifications for steel bars and wire used to reinforce concrete.
The purpose of this addendum is to inform WTO Members that the tariff subheadings of products covered by the scope of this Technical Regulation were updated to 12 digits, in accordance with the Central American Customs System. This Technical Regulation is amended to ensure greater clarity and transparency, as well as clear rules for Costa Rica's trading partners, with a view to facilitating trade in goods in the country.
