根据内阁命令对《合理使用能源法》的修订于2020年1月24日公布。此外，于2020年3月31日公布了对《部长条例》的修订以及经济产业省（METI）和土地、基础设施、交通和旅游部（MLIT）关于汽车能效标准的通知。这些修订于2020年4月1日生效。这些规定包括制造商应在其产品目录上注明能源消耗效率和电动里程等要求。自2021年4月1日起，应适用关于插电式混合动力汽车、电动汽车和液化石油气燃料指定小型客车的指示要求。

Revision to the Cabinet Order under the Act on the Rational Use of Energy was published on 24 January 2020. In addition, revisions to the Ministerial Ordinance and the Notifications of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) regarding energy efficiency standards of vehicles were published on 31 March 2020. These revisions entered into force on 1 April 2020. These regulations include requirements that manufacturers should indicate on their catalogues with regard to energy consumption efficiency and electric range etc. The indication requirement regarding plug-in hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles and LPG-fueled specified small buses shall be applied from 1 April 2021.（技术服务中心）
