Description of content: This Pakistan Standard specifies the performance requirements, for LED Modules, together with the test method and conditions, required to show compliance with this standard. The following types of LED Modules are distinguished and schematically shown in figure 1: type
Type 1: integrated LED Modules for use D.C supplies up to 250 V or on A.C supplies up to 1000 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
Type 2: LED Modules operating with part of separate control gear connected to the mains voltage, and having further control means inside (Semi-integrated") for operation under constant voltage, constant current or constant power.
Type 3: LED Modules where the complete control gear is separate from the module (non-integrated) for operation under constant voltage, constant current or constant power.

NEA introduced the Mandatory Energy Labelling Scheme (MELS) and Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) in 2008 and 2011 respectively to help individuals purchase more energy efficient appliances.
The existing Energy Conservation (Prescribed Regulated Goods) Order 2017 and the Energy Conservation (Regulated Goods and Registered Suppliers) Regulations 2017 will be amended to:
Raise MEPS for non-directional incandescent lamps listed under Section 4(i)
Introduce MELS for lamp types listed under Sections 4(ii) to 4(v), and
Introduce MEPS for fluorescent lamp ballasts listed under Section 4(vi)
The revised MEPS for non-directional incandescent lamps listed under Section 4(i) from 1 August 2019 will be as follows:

Description of content: This action proposes amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) Refinery MACT 1, which was published in the Federal Register on 1 December 2015, and subsequently amended on 13 July 2016. The 1 December 2015, action was the result of a risk and technology review in which the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized amendments to Refinery MACT 1 and Refinery MACT 2. The 13 July 2016, action finalized technical corrections and clarifications, as well as changes to compliance dates for various emission sources, including the maintenance vent standards that apply during periods of startup, shutdown, maintenance, or inspection. In this action, the EPA is proposing to amend the compliance dates for maintenance vents to 30 January 2019. These proposed revisions do not affect any other requirements in the 1 December 2015, or 13 July 2016, final actions. This proposed action will have an insignificant effect on emissions reductions and no effect on costs.

(UL), in the entrapment protection provisions in UL's standard UL 325, Standard for Safety: Door, Drapery, Gate, Louver, and Window Operators and Systems, Seventh Edition.

Description of content: The FAA proposes to add a new load condition to the design standards for transport category airplanes. The new load condition would require the airplane be designed to withstand the loads caused by rapid reversals of the rudder pedals and would apply to transport category airplanes that have a powered rudder control surface or surfaces. This rule is necessary because accident and incident data show that pilots sometimes make rudder reversals during flight, even though such reversals are unnecessary and discouraged by flightcrew training programs. The current design standards do not require the airplane structure to withstand the loads that may result from such reversals. If the airplane loads exceed those for which it is designed, the airplane structure may fail, resulting in catastrophic loss of control of the airplane. This proposal aims to prevent structural failure of the rudder and vertical stabilizer that may result from these rudder reversals.
